Khel Planet @Auroville

Last week we started Khel Planet workshops in a new city, Auroville. Auroville (City of Dawn) is an experimental township in Viluppuram district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, near Puducherry in South India. Two workshops were conducted at Aikiyam School in Auroville. This CBSE school serves children from several rural villages.

First workshop: We interacted and played pictionary and 7up with children from grade 5.

Second workshop: Good things spread fast. Fifth standard children shared their experience with eighth graders and hence we were invited to play a quick round of “Build a scene“. We expected them to be shy. But after some warm-up activity, we were surprised to find almost all the kids participating and having fun!
